GCP editors hold two roles: Emotobook acquisitions and content editing. Editors mentor writers of accepted submissions to ensure the highest standards of fiction writing. For this reason, building direct relationships with writers is vital to GCP’s success.

In the content role, editors carefully evaluate fiction submissions on several levels, including unique appeal, style, originality, and general entertainment value. Editors must also have a superior command of the technical elements of fiction writing. Editors don’t stop with the written content. They evaluate story art and Emotobook covers to ensure the GCP promise of providing superior fiction entertainment.

If you have the chops to edit for GCP, follow these steps:

1. 1.We encourage you to experience already published Emotobooks. You must first read the free How to Create Emotobooks handbook. Learn the storytelling style & structure. Become aware of how the emotional representations fit into each story.
   

Note: Editors must have a modern computer and MS Word.

2. 2.Email GCP the following: resume, a sample of your fiction writing, link to your blog, a note about why you believe you wish to work with our Community, and listing of your past successes in fiction writing or editing.
   

Note: If you do not have a presence on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+, you are not taking your career seriously and GCP is not interested. 200 followers are required on each. Provide links to your social media and number of followers.

3. 3.GCP will evaluate your submission. If interested, we’ll contact you with detailed information about the next steps.
